Random Pieces

I came across an unfinished “watercolor quilt” that I had started years ago - It’s made up of scraps - tiny random squares of floral pieces. Each square by itself is definitely not impressive. Thrown into a heap, they just looks like a pile to sweep into to the waste basket.

But as they are picked up, studied, and arranged by a designer, those insignificant, random pieces of fabric can be joined together to become a delight design that is pleasing to the eye.

In the same way, our heavenly Father picks up each of us individually, each of us seemingly insignificant in the large scope of the world. Our great Designer and Creator of the universe, has a special place for each one of us. He joins us together, uniting us in His love, and calling us to be his magnificent creation for the world to see.
